This hormone is believed to relate to the development of heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The other aspect of the effects of calorie counting dieting is that people feel stressed when they can’t eat normally and have to take into account everything they eat, which further contributes to disease.
So you have a double whammy on this one – you have the biological hormones causing stress on your body as well as your mental health.

To help you still lose weight but not put yourself in danger it’s best to take the weight loss journey slowly. Make small adjustments to your diet and exercise regimen.
