If you are searching the Internet for skin cancer pictures because you wonder whether or not a spot on your body is cancerous or just a mole, you might want to be careful how much faith you put into them. You should never try to diagnose yourself with skin cancer pictures because in actuality, you are not sure whether or not the person who posted the picture has skin cancer and what his or her story is.
When you see a possible cancerous mole on someone’s skin, you have to know whether the mole has changed in size and color. You can’t tell that from just looking at skin cancer pictures.
The other thing you should consider when searching for skin cancer pictures is that everyone is different. You’re mole can look exactly like someone else’s but yours might not be cancerous while the other person’s might be.
Cancer doesn’t have an exact look… it takes a professional eye and testing to determine whether your skin spot is truly cancer. So stop searching the Internet for skin cancer pictures and instead, schedule an appointment with your doctor. Just remember, cancer survival depends on early detection. Don’t rely on pictures for diagnosis or you may put off the medical attention you really need.
